Safety & Security Asia (SSA) 2013 is back for its 24th biennial presentation in Singapore on 7-9 May 2013 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

The organizers note that Safety & Security Asia series is the most established event of Southeast Asia’s security market in the last twenty-four years, making it the a valuable platform for security technology companies to penetrate the region’s market, especially in the cyberspace arena.

Implementing safety measures targeted at cyberspace security is more crucial now as a result of the proliferation of cyber-attacks in recent years. In addition, the growth of the Internet and its use means that such attacks now represent a borderless challenge for security operators.

Security experts also assume that terrorism will evolve to pose new security threats, ranging from company espionage to identity theft on an international scale. Thus, Visiongain predicts that the value of the global cyber security market in 2013 will reach $68.34 billion.

This is where SSA 2013 Singapore comes into play, bringing together top experts in the field with an extensive showcase of new technologies, solutions, products, and services to counter safety and security breaches, as well as create a better understanding of how to combat such threats. Networking sessions and conferences will also offer a platform for industry professionals to share their experiences and gather more insights on the latest trends in the security arena.
