AirSpeak’s FLAIR mobile tablet will provide GGT customers with a remote way to control permiter surveillance systems

Security is only as strong as the men who supervise it, but men need to go home to their families and take trips abroad. Of course, such men are typically not the kind who can leave their work at home, and many must be on call at all times in case of emergency. What is obviously needed is a way for security professionals to be able to monitor remote surveillance systems no matter their location. Global General Technologies (GGT) has long been a leader in infrastructure perimeter security, and the company is no stranger to this challenge, nor is it intimidated. The company — or rather its subsidiary H7 Security Systems — announced this week that it would soon acquire Cupertino, California-based AirSpeak, the maker of the FLAIR mobile tablet, in order to provide GGT customers with a secure way to control video of secured areas from afar. AirSpeak and H7 will operate as a consolidated entity.

The deal is just the latest in a string of business successes for H7, best known for its widely acclaimed Silent Soldier Video Surveillance product line. Earlier this year this company entered into a strategic development partnership with Lincasia Incorporated to develop advanced communication techniques; and created another partnership with PENROD International to representat H7 in China. One indication that others are catching on to Global General: Beacon Equity Research recently rated the company “Outperform” with a target price of $.81.
