ICE selects StarBak video solution

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the DHS arm responsible for identifying vulnerabilities along the nation’s borders, will deploy the Integrated Network Video (INV) solution from Waltham, Massachusetts-based StarBak Communications, a provider of integrated network video solutions for IP networks. The solution will provide TV, live feeds such as CNN and other news programming, as well as on-demand training and communications content to ICE employees’ desktops. The initial installations are spread across seven Washington, D.C. locations and multiple agencies within DHS.

During Hurricane Katrina, DHS and FEMA relied on StarBak’s INV enterprise TV application to keep top officials informed of the latest news and information.
