Iowa lab

The University of Iowa, a leading center of public health research, has begun construction of a new $37.8 million, 112,000-square foot hygenic laboratory. The facility is designed to facilitate the testing of diseases such as mumps, influenza, and West Nile Virus, as well as bioterror agents.
