New version of popular zNose detection device launched

Newbury Park, California-based Electronic Sensor Technology (OTCBB: ESNR) has launched the 2006 version of its zNose Model 4300. This is an enhanced version of the company’s popular zNose 4200 unit, a detection device capable of capturing and analyzing practically any odor, fragrance, or chemical vapor within a few seconds. The new device will be more portable relative to its predecessor, and will also feature a better user interface and a wireless Bluetooth capability. The new version is battery powered, capable of running for about eight hours without recharging. The Bluetooth wireless connectivity will allow the device to transmit information to laptops and PDAs for quicker transmissions to first response teams. -read more at company Web site
