Privacy pants” would allow airport security personnel to do their job while keeping passengers’ privacy and dignity intact

The numbers are not yet in, but one item which enjoyed brisk sales this holiday season is what should be described as “privacy pants.” The designers claim that the pants would allow airport security personnel to do their job while keeping passengers’ privacy and dignity intact.

The folks over at Rocky Flats Gear have designed a special fig leaf underwear that protects travelers from the gaze of TSA. So what makes these panties so special? They are laced with tungsten and other metals to block the X-rays from the body scanners. It gets you right through the metal detectors with no hassle. They even make bras for women who are self-conscious about flashing their boobies.

The only drawback, besides the fact that it looks like a pair of grannie underwear with a giant fig leaf slapped on, chances are TSA could get suspicious about what is behind that giant fig leaf. Which means? One-way ticket to a hand down your pants and getting groped.
