ZK Technology announced yesterdaythat it was officially entering the biometric access control solution market starting with its new inBio and C3 series of network-based biometric and RFID control panels, which also include fingerprint scanners.

ZK is best known and leader in developing biometric readers with one of the fastest fingerprint matching algorithm in the market. We are very excited about our formal entry into the access control solution market with product line that consist of single board one, two and four-door IP-based access control panels, waterproof Biometric/RFID readers, accessories and feature rich web-based software,” Jaimin Shah, the CEO of ZK Technology in the United States, said in a release. “Our InBio panel has ability to match fingerprint templates on the panels. ZK Access product line will allow dealers and integrators further differentiate themselves and make more profit margins in this very crowded market.”

In addition to the new panels, the company will also be offering waterproof fingerprint and RFID card readers.

The new biometric products will be sold by a newly created division, ZK Access, which is under the company’s U.S. subsidiary and will focus on access control solutions.
