A-T Solutions acquires anti-terrorism firm

In its second acquisition in four months, Fredericksburg, Virginia-based A-T Solutions has acquired Boise, Idaho-based Trancite Logic Systems, an information technology company that specializes in law enforcement and anti-terrorism solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition of Trancite follows the June purchase of Accelligence LLC , a provider of intelligence and mission-focused solutions for intelligence agencies.

Nick Wakeman writes that with Trancite, A-T Solutions moves into the law enforcement market. The company has worked with the Army, Defense Department, FBI, DHS, and Marine Corps as well as state and local law enforcement agencies.

The company will be come part of A-T Solutions technology business. Trancite CEO Joshua Evarts will become A-T Solutions’ first chief innovation officer.

A-T Solutions was founded in 2002 and was acquired in 2008 by CoVant , an investment group led by former Anteon International executives.
