TVI receives more orders for its decontamination shelters

Small Maryland company making contamination shelters had difficult times selling its products, until recently

A few days ago [HSDW 2/8/06] we noted that Maryland-based TVI Corporation (NASDAQ: TVIN), a developer of contamination protection gear and other homeland security equipment, was getting out of the difficult period it was in and signing more deals. A couple of days ago it received an order from the Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Counter-Terrorism Task Force, and now it has received a series of orders from the Colorado Health and Hospital Association (CHA) valued at approximately $245,000. The orders include the delivery of TVI’s 2 Line and 3 Line Decontamination Shelters to numerous metro hospitals in the Denver area. The series of orders was funded through DHS Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI).
