TVI sells respirator device to Pennsylvania anti-terror units

Glenn Dale, Maryland-based TVI Corporation (NASDAQ: TVIN), a homeland security supplier which has made a name for itself as a developer of portable contamination equipment, has received a series of orders from the Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Counter-Terrorism Task Force, valued at approximately $137,000, for the company’s powered air purifying respirators (PAPRs).

We have written about TVI [HSDW 11/9/05] last fall, describing some of the difficulties it faced selling its equipment. It is good to see this deal materialize.
