U.K. text analysis company wins to help GHIS on DHS contract

Guildford, U.K-based Corpora Software, a specialist in text analysis software, has been awarded a subcontract to support Washington, D.C.-based G&H International Services (GHIS) as the prime contractor on efforts to serve DHS Science and Technology Directorate (S&T). Corpora will assist GHIS in the creating of the Technology Clearinghouse mandated by Section 313 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, and serve the broader programmatic needs of the Public Safety and Security Institute for Technology (PSITEC). Corpora will help DHS develop new strategies for the dissemination of information, tools, and services related to technology designed to improve the emergency response capabilities of government, first responders, and private industry. GHIS has long been involved in creating programs to allow collaboration on national security and law enforcement between the federal, state, and local levels of governments.
