View Systems unveils VFRM2

View Systems has been selling its monitoring systems to courts, prisons, and police stations, and now it expands its offerings to include a mobile camera and detection device

Baltimore, Maryland-based View Systems (OTC BB: VYST) is showing its VFRM2 (for Visual First Responder M2). The company says that the VFRM2 builds on the VFR technology and allows for hands-free operation and multiple video sources. Tactical officers can wear the VFRM2 on a mission, capture steady, clear video, and transmit it — encrypted — to commanders in real time. Front-line emergency crew members will also be able to incorporate thermal imaging and a helmet mounted monocle.

Researchers at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory have developed the Hazmat Camera System, which View Systems, under license, is marketing as the Visual First Responder (VFR).
