In keeping with the mission of ISC Solutions, speakers on a variety of panels will demonstrate and discuss practical solutions to security problems and practices that have proven successful; practitioners from law enforcement and first response communities will share their experiences in the field
ISC Solutions’ paid curriculum, or “Dealer/Installer/Integrator Education” series, will be provided in partnership with the PSA Security Network, an electronic security cooperative representing security system integrators.“Key Considerations for Healthcare Security and Access Control” will take place on Wednesday, 3 November at 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.. This session will address the need to combine security, safety, and convenience for different types of healthcare environments through the implementation of security and access control devices. The opportunities in this market and security requirements will also be discussed.
Panelists Matt Barnette of AMAG Technology, a manufacturer of card and biometric access control systems, Kourtney Govro of Sphere 3, a software-application based workflow evaluator, John Hunepohl of ASSA ABLOY, a door opening solution provider, and Suzette Lorenzana of Pelco, a video security systems and equipment vertical, will be speaking on the aforementioned topics.
“The Essentials of Campus Safety & Security” will take place on Wednesday, 3 November at 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. The session will address the effective implementation of access control, visitor management, and video surveillance educational institutions from kindergarten to university level institutions, which now have an increased demand for extensive security systems. The attendees with learn how to market, sell, and design solutions for this niche from Dr. Paula Love from Quarter Source, a cross-sector consulting firm with expertise in educational services, alongside Dave Tilley of Transcore, a systems integrator, design consultant, manufacturer of radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies, and Chuck Wilson of NSCA, executive director of National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA), a not-for-profit association representing the commercial electronic systems industry.
“Securing Critical Infrastructure, Government and Mass Transit Facilities” will be presented on Thursday, 4 November at 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Panelists Frank Abram of Samsung, a high-tech media electronics manufacturer, Dave Fitzgerald of Henry Brothers, Inc., a large-scale security solutions provider, and Moti Shabtai of NICE Vision, a video surveillance and security solutions provider, will discuss the task of adequately securing facilities that house chemicals of interest, government officials, classified documents, and transportation hubs. The Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) and other DHS standards and regulations will be addressed since they are integral to businesses wishing to deploy security solutions to the critical infrastructure, government, and transportation sectors.
