NATO forces in Afghanistan deploy an airship to support security efforts in the war-torn country; the airship hovers several hundred feet above ground, using sensors to detect IEDs
NATO has deployed an airship in Kabul to support efforts to provide security for the presidential elections on 20 August.
Floating several hundred feet above the ground, the airship is supporting the Afghan National Police, using its sensors to detect improvised explosive devices and potential ambushes.
NATO TV broadcast a report on the “eye in the sky” provided by the airship.
