Bio Recognition Systems (BRS), an Australian biometrics vendor, has received international recognition for its BioLock+ system. A non-profit industry body, the Security Network, declared the system the “Most Innovative Security Product” in the Sensor category at the group’s Security Summit in California. BioLock+ is an IP65 weather/dirt/dust resistant biometric access control system with standalone or IP-relay intelligence. “This award is a strong endorsement of our technology, as it comes from internationally recognised security experts who are well aware of the issues and market needs around biometric security,” said BRS chairman Anthony Holman.

The Security Network liked the system’s focus on innovation and its applicability to different markets and sectors. “Being selected as the winning product among such a high-level of competition is testament to Bio Recognition Systems’ focus on innovation that will have an impact in the security market for many years,” said Security Network’s president, Michael Jones. The Security Network’s mission is to push innovation within the security industry.
