Bioscrypt, HID, OMNIKEY collaborate to offer a door-to-desktop card solution

The three companies announce that VeriSoft Access Manager will be the authentication software application which would allow cards to be used for access control to facilities and computers

Markham, Ontario, Canada-based Bioscrypt, a provider of identity verification technology, Irvine, California-based HID Corporation, a manufacturer of access control cards and readers, and Walluf, Germany-based OMNIKEY, a manufacturer of innovative smart card readers, announced before the holidays that VeriSoft Access Manager will be the authentication software application which allows cards to be used for access control to facilities and computers. With the introduction of VeriSoft Access Manager, Bioscrypt can now offer software application which promotes multi-factor authentication, supporting fingerprint biometrics, contact and contactless smart cards, proximity cards, common passwords, USB tokens, virtual tokens and Trusted Platform Modules (TPM).
