The HSPD-12 compliance deadline is coming, and federal agencies will soon be rushing to fill orders for everything smart card-related, from scanners to applications to enrollment systems. Sometimes overlooked, however, are the cards themselves. Irvine, California-based CardLogix provides a helpful reminder with its announcement this week of its new CREDNTYSYS, FIPS 201-compliant smart cards.
