DHSDHS employee’s Web site calls for race war, genocide of white people
During the day, Ayo Kimathi works as a small business specialist at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), dealing with companies which sell handcuffs, ammunition, guns, and other items for agents of the agency. Away from the office, Kimathi runs a Web site called War on the Horizon (WHO), where he says race war in the U.S. is imminent. He calls for the mass killing of whites, and the “ethnic cleaning” of “black-skinned Uncle Tom race traitors.” The latter group includes President Obama (“a treasonous mulatto scum dweller”), Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Rev. Al Sharpton, Lil Wayne, among others.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is not an organization conservatives think highly of, but even the most rock-ribbed conservative would endorse the SPLC’s latest report.
The disturbing report, in the SPLC’s Hatewatch series, concerns a DHS employee named Ayo Kimathi.
During work hours, Kimathi is small business specialist at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), responsible for buying handcuffs, ammunition, guns, and other items for agents of the agency.
Away from the office, however, Kimathi runs a Web site called War on the Horizon (WHO), where he calls himself “the Irritated Genie.” He describes himself as a gay-bashing, revenge-seeking black nationalist, openly calling for the mass murder of whites and the “ethnic cleansing” of “black-skinned Uncle Tom race traitors.” The list of race traitors to be ethnically cleansed includes President Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Rev. Al Sharpton, Lil Wayne, among others.
The site describes President Obama as “a treasonous mulatto scum dweller … who will fight against reparations for Black people in amerikkka, but in favor of fag rights for freaks in amerikkka and Afrika.”
“Warfare is eminent [sic.]” [Kimathi must have meant “imminent’] the Web site declares, “and in order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites — more than our Christian hearts can possibly count.”
A former supervisor of Kimathi at DHS told SPLC: “Everybody in the office is afraid of him.”
“This guy is filled with hate,” the supervisor continued. “People are afraid he will come in with a gun someday and go postal. I am astounded, he’s employed by the federal government, let alone Homeland Security.”
The Web site has designated August as “Nat Turner Month” after the slave who led a bloody 1831 slave uprising in Virginia in 1831. WHO suggests that one way for African American visitors to the site to remember Nat Turner would be to “Plan every act of vengeance, retaliation, protest, aggression, etc. … for the month of August knowing that the ancestors, and especially Prophet Nat, Boukman Dutty, and Jean-Jacques Dessalines, will be with you as you do your hunting.”
The former supervisor, who said people at the office were terrified of Kimathi, said that because ICE is a law enforcement agency, employees are required to obtain official permission in writing for any outside activities. Kimathi was able to obtain official permission to run his Web site by misrepresenting the nature of the site, telling management that it was an entertainment Website selling videos of concerts.
“If he had adequately and truthfully described his group,” the supervisor said, “I can’t imagine for a minute he would have been granted permission.”
On his Kimathi sells videos of lectures he gives on the subject of race war and killing white people, explaining that he is disgusted with “the smallhates (white so-called ‘jews’) and the white homos like Gay Edgar Hoover.”
WHO charges that white people are engaged in a conspiracy trying to “homosexualize” black men in order to make them more effeminate and weaker. Kimathi, therefore, praises a series of laws in some African countries which criminalize gay behavior and people. Kimathi also argues for the supremacy of black men over black women, and his site offers tips “to help every Black woman in the world understand what she needs to do to keep a strong Black man happy.”
The homepage of WOH says the organization was created “for the purpose of preparing Black people worldwide for an unavoidable, inevitable clash with the white race. whites [sic.] around the world are absolutely determined to exterminate Afrikan people in all corners of the Earth.
“As a result of this reality, WOH has dedicated our time and expertise to properly educating Black people to prepare for Racial Warfare. This includes intellectual, spiritual, psychological, and physical preparation for a global clash that will mean the end of white rule on this planet or the end of the Black Race as we know it.
“Please review the information on our site to understand the threat our people are facing so that you may make the right decisions in preparation for this reality.
“We’ll See You on the Battlefield!”
In response to the SLPC revelations, ICE’s Deputy Press Secretary Gillian Christensen told the Atlantic: “ICE does not condone any type of hateful rhetoric or advocacy of violence of any kind against anyone. Every ICE employee is held to the highest standard of professional and ethical conduct. Accusations of misconduct are investigated thoroughly and if substantiated, appropriate action is taken.”
