DHSDHS fires Black supremacist employee

DHS has fired Ayo Kimathi, the militant Black supremacist employee, after placing him on paid leave four months ago in order to conduct an administrative review of his conduct. Kimathi, who used to work in the procurement specialist at ICE, runs a Web site in which, among other racist rants, he calls for the mass killing of White people, describes President Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and other successful African Americans as “black-skinned Uncle Tom race traitors,” and says that a woman’s primary role in life should be to “keep a strong Black man happy.”

DHS has fired Ayo Kimathi, the militant Black supremacist employee, after placing him on paid leave four months ago in order to conduct an administrative review of his conduct.

Kimathi, who used to work in the procurement specialist at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), runs a Web site called War on the Horizon, in which, among other racist rants, he calls for the mass killing of White people. Kimathi’s Web site also calls for the “ethnic cleansing” of whites and describes President Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and other successful African Americans as “black-skinned Uncle Tom race traitors.”

The National Journal reports that Kimathi’s moonlighting as a militant Black nationalist was the result of an investigation by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an organization which tracks hate groups.

Yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, DHS deputy press secretary Gillian Christensen confirmed to National Journal that Kimathi has left the agency. “Mr. Kimathi is no longer an ICE employee. His last day with the agency was December 6,” she said.

She said she could not confirm whether he resigned or was terminated because of government-wide employment privacy policies.

On his Web site, Kimathi promotes a war between the races, opining that “In order for Black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites — more than our Christian hearts can possibly count.”

In other postings, he warned that whites, and black enablers like President Obama, are trying to “homosexualize” black men in order to make them weaker, and suggested that a woman’s primary role in life should be to “keep a strong Black man happy.” Kimathi also does not bother to hide his anti-Semitic views, claiming in a Facebook post that his Web site was under attack from a conspiracy of “zionist smallhats, the Uncle Tom koons,” and, naturally, “the haters.”

The Journal notes that civil-service regulations make it very difficult for the government to fire employees, even in extreme cases such as this one. Still, many expressed anger that Kimathi was still being paid by the government – he made $115,731 in 2012 — while his case was under review, all the while continuing publicly to spew racial hatred, incite violence, and call for mass murder.

This is welcome but long overdue news,” Josh Glasstetter of the SPLC told the Journal. “DHS had known for months about Kimathi’s promotion of violence. Some of his coworkers reportedly feared for their own safety. Regrettably, DHS only took action after we publicized his activities.”

Last month, while Kimathi was still on paid leave, Glasstetter told the Journal: “DHS should be tracking Kimathi, not employing him…. This isn’t a mundane human resources matter or a tricky First Amendment question. DHS should have investigated and fired Kimathi months, or even years, ago.”
