GSA names ADT as qualified HSPD-12 integrator

Company will provide full-service compliance with Sure Pass Identity Access Management system; certification follows smart card success in D.C. and Florida

ADT is one of those rare companies known equally well to a homemaker as it is to a U.S. Marshal. Indeed, many who use the company’s home security systems to protect their jewels are surprised to hear it is just as comfortable protecting airports and water supplies. It is a big company with 140 years of experience to match, so we, for our part, were not at all taken aback to hear the U.S. General Services Administration had named the company a Qualified HSPD-12 System Integration Service Provider, enabling it to provide the full range of end-to-end smart card solutions to federal agencies through its ADT Sure Pass Identity Access Management system. Through its Federal Systems Division, ADT has also successfully implemented smart card solutions with the Washington, D.C. Government Citywide Credentialing Program and with the state of Florida through the Transportation Workers Identity Credentials (TWIC) identity management pilot program.
