Lufthansa orders more cockpit security systems

Global AirWorks, a division of City of Industry, California-based Global ePoint (NASDAQ: GEPT), a manufacturer of security technologies for aviation, has received additional orders for thirteen of its Cockpit Door Surveillance System (CDSS) kits from Lufthansa Cityline, a unit of the Lufthansa Group. Beginning in June 2006 Cityline will receive deliveries of an additional twelve new CRJ 900s, which will be outfitted with the CDSS kit. The airline currently flies more than 6.8 million people annually on its fleet of eighty-one short and medium-range jets. All are equipped with the CDSS. The CDSS is already installed on more than 800 aircraft flying worldwide on major international airlines and domestic carriers.
