Neurotechnology recently unveiledits VeriLook Surveillance 2.0, a software system that can track individuals in real-time using facial biometrics.

According to the company, the software can analyze faces from live video streams as well as multiple high-resolution digital surveillance feeds. Neurotechnology’s latest algorithm allows the software to track multiple individuals based on their face as they move across the screen. In addition, the algorithm enables the software to keep track of individuals even when their faces are partially obscured or briefly disappear from the frame.

The company said VeriLook has many applications ranging from surveillance to entrance monitoring and counting, automated time-attendance systems, and law enforcement.
