TeleContinuity, SRA to support national communication system

TeleContinuity will help the National Communications System’s (NCS) national security and emergency preparedness programs in providing critical continuity of communications expertise, preserving the ability of federal agencies to maintain Continuity of Government (COG) when it is most vital - during disasters, emergencies, evacuations, or pandemics

Germantown, Maryland-based TeleContinuity (see 11 July 2007 HSNW)is partnering with SRA International (NYSE: SRX) on a DHS contract. The two companies have been awarded one of the National Communications System’s (NCS) National Security and Emergency Preparedness Scientific, Engineering

and Technical Assistance contracts. This five-year, multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a combined ceiling value of $388.9 million to be competed among all four awardees through the term of the contract.

TeleContinuity will help the NCS’ national security and emergency preparedness programs in providing critical continuity of communications expertise, preserving the ability of federal agencies to maintain Continuity of Government (COG) when it is most vital - during disasters, emergencies, evacuations, or pandemics.

The contract calls for SRA and TeleContinuity to provide NCS with innovative and dependable emergency communications solutions, government and industry interface support and emergency operations support.
