Israeli company, known for technology that permits fingerprint authentication via mobile phone, strikes a joint venture deal with Dymacon Business Solutions

More good news for Israel-based ClassifEye, an innovative company that is using $1.2 million on venture financing from Baltimore, Maryland-based Nobska Ventures to make a run at selling fingerprint biometric solutions for the mobile commerce sector.

(The key distinguishing feature of ClassifEye’s solution is that it is a software-only technology which allows for fingerprint authentication and identification by using the user’s existing camera phones.) The company announced this week that it entered into a joint venture agreeement with Hannover, Germany-based Dymacon Business Solutions — known as a large IT system integrator of mobile data communications solutions for the enterprise market — to leverage ClassifEye’s technology to offer secure remote access, managed access, and authentication and non-repudiation of communications and transactions throughout the European mobile market. “The European carriers have been seeking to enhance secure services to their customers,” said Dymacon CEO Dirk Muckhoff.
