Safety & Security Asia 2013 to be held in Singapore on 7-9 May 2013, will attract 600 exhibitors from thirty countries and more than 10,000 visitors from forty countries. Networking sessions, conferences, and seminars will create a platform for industry professionals to share their experiences and gather more insights on the latest trends in the safety and security arena.

Safety & Security Asia (SSA) 2013 will hold its 24th biennial presentation in Singapore on 7-9 May 2013 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The organizers say the Safety & Security Asia series is the most established event of Southeast Asia’s security market in the last twenty-four years, making it a suitable platform for companies to showcase their products and services to the region’s safety and security market.

A good safety and security culture is essential to the welfare of people in all workplaces. Singapore has adopted a national, strategic, and long-term approach in order to achieve sustainable and continuous improvement in workplace safety and health performance. In addition, the National Strategy for Workplace Safety & Health for Singapore (WSH 2018) aims to achieve one of the best safety records in the world by 2018 by bringing down the national fatality rate to less than 1.8 per 10,000 workers.

This is where SSA 2013 Singapore comes in, featuring the Workplace Health and Safety Asia (WSHA) 2013 pavilion.

“I am very excited for this edition of the Safety & Security series,” says Edward Liu, the managing director of the organizing company, Conference and Exhibition Management Services Pte Ltd. “It will bring together top experts in the field with an extensive showcase of new technologies, solutions, products and services to counter safety and security issues faced by professionals in their line of work. It is important that people in the workplace are equipped with sufficient and efficient safety and security measures. This in turn will increase the efficiency of the workplace.”

Networking sessions, conferences, and seminars will also create a platform for industry professionals to share their experiences and gather more insights on the latest trends in the safety and security arena.
