Baltimore, Maryland-based Securityhunter, Inc., a government security solutions integrator, has just received a $200 million Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide security systems and support services for 1,500 Social Security Administration (SSA) locations around the country.

Securityhunter says it will provide enterprise-level security solutions to protect SSA personnel, customers, and assets over a 5-year period. The company notes that SSA is another addition to its roster of civilian and military government clients.

The contract makes Securityhunter a major player among government security providers. The company has made the Inc. 500 and 5,000 fast growth charts for several years, and several industry rankings have it as a top-ranked integrator as well.

Securityhunter notes that it is the team leader of a group of companies, which include General Dynamics Information Technology and Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc.

Securityhunter founder and CEO Michael Rogers believes the company has experienced unparalleled growth due to its focus on establishing a BPA with government agencies to contract security installations, products, and ongoing maintenance services. A BPA leverages the government’s buying power by maximizing quantity discounts and by reducing administrative time and paperwork.
