Israeli detection-kit maker Identa sees success in India; last year the company has shipped 20,000 different kinds of kits to India; tests by India’s National Investigative Agency showed Identa’s kits to be more effective than sprays and other means of explosive detection

Yaacov Shoham, the CEO of innovative Israeli detection kit maker IDenta Corp., released an e-mail he received from Arvind Naswa, owner of Technomaxx Securities company which represents Identa Corp in India. The e-mail reads in part:

We are pleased to inform you that Identa Detectors have proved more effective and successful as compared to the spray and the other local products in the tests undertaken during the recent PUNE BLAST (you might have heard or read in the news). The NIA (recently formed National Investigative Agency) has noticed / appreciated our kits (IDENTA DETECTORS). This will certainly give boost to sale of our products.

Shoham made these comments:

The country of India is a huge market for Identa products to penetrate. It has enormous potential because of the large population and the terrorist problems that exist there as shown by the explosion at the bakery in Pune, India last week. There is a great need for our detectors in India.

Identa has supplied approximately 20,000 of different kinds of kits in India in the past year, and we expect our kits will dominate the Indian markets in a relatively short time. The response to our kits has been overwhelmingly positive.

Actually today, with the last couple of months’ developments in the explosive identifiers issue in many different countries and markets, I am predicting that in a matter of a few years the Identa Alert Explosive Identifiers —- the best and most reliable kit on the market — will be a standard device used by the different agencies in the world. It is a huge market due to the wide terrorist problems around the world.

Identa was established in 2003, and has developed a reputation for innovative proprietary on-site drug, drug precursor, and explosive detection kits.
