ImageWare to show off biometric product suite at D.C. border conference

Company is a leader in the field and a major player in the HSPD-12 market; packaged systems allow for easy adoption; 2nd Annual Border Management Summit opens tomorrow

San Diego, California-based ImageWare has been a favorite of ours ever since it brought biometrics to some of the roughest locations on Earth: Mexican prisons. That was a small contract, but it demonstrated the company’s flexibility and vigor, qualities that much larger companies like GE Security and Honeywell recognized recently by agreeing to buy ImageWare’s products for use in their respective HSPD-12 efforts. One can travel to Mexico and see ImageWare products in action (either as an honored visitor or as an extradited criminal), but we think it is much easier to check out the company’s display at the 2nd Annual Border Management Summit, scheduled to last from 23-25 October in Washington, D.C. Company representatives will be showing their newly released Biometric Engine Solution Suite, a comprehensive offering of packaged solutions for programs including HSPD-12 , ePassport, disaster management, and physical access control.
