L-3 Titan Group among six vendors to support DHS National Exercise Program

The Titan Group’s (L-3 Titan Group) Technical and Management Services Division of New York-based L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) is one of six vendors selected by DHS to support the National Exercise Program. Under this $350 million, five-year, multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) task-based contract. L-3 Titan Group will compete against other award winners to provide different terrorism, technological, and natural disaster exercises for federal, state, and local jurisdictions. The L-3 Titan Group’s Emergency Management Department is currently developing the new national Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program pilot training which will be delivered to more than sixty locations across the country. L-3 Titan Group has already conducted 359 chemical and biological emergency preparedness exercises in 120 of the nation’s largest cities for the Department of Defense and DHS under the congressionally mandated Nunn-Lugar-Domenici domestic preparedness program.
