MRAP modifications for BAE

BAE Systems wins two modifications contracts, worth $21.3 million, for the U.S. mine resistant ambush protected (MRAP); with these two contracts, the company’s MRAP-related contracts have reached $1.3 billion

The U.S. mine resistant ambush protected (MRAP) Joint Program Office has awarded BAE Systems two contract modifications worth $21.3 million for RG33 MRAP vehicles. Under the first, $10.3 million modification, BAE Systems will provide training, documentation, and technical support for the vehicles. It will provide spare parts for the RG 33 MRAP vehicles as part of the second modification, worth $11 million. Work on the contracts started last month and will continue until January 2009.
