China suspected of waging an invisible war on the U.S. power grid

China may be engaged in an invisible war on the United States power grid. A cyberwarfare report published by the Telegraph says that both China and Russia may have “dropped bugs” into the U.S. power grid software, bugs which could be used to disrupt the electrical system supply. “The Chinese have attempted to map our infrastructure, such as the electrical grid. So have the Russians,” an unidentified senior intelligence official told the Wall Street Journal.
