TVI announces selection as decontamination system provider for DoD

The contract under the Defense Guardian Installation Protection Program is worth $490,000; company will deploy proprietary fabric shelter structures

When it’s good, it’s great. Two days after announcing a blanket agreement to provide up to $750,000 worth of air-purifying respirators to an anonymous major manufacturer, Glenn Dale, Maryland-based TVI (NASDAQ:TVIN) announced that it had been selected, for a first-year fee of $490,000, as one of two decontamination system providers for the Department of Defense (DoD) Guardian Installation Protection Program. The program provides military bases nationwide with equipment to fight chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards. The company’s core systems are fabric shelter structures which employ a proprietary articulating frame.
