Safety & Security Asia (SSA 2012) is back for its second edition in Jakarta, Indonesia. The organizers say that have created a platform especially designed for networking and addressing of security issues, bringing together exhibitors from across the region.

The event, held concurrently with the Fire Disaster Asia, is a 2-in-1 trade show tailored for the growing demand of security features and products. Safety & Security Asia and Fire and Disaster Asia aim to showcase an innovative and extensive list of products needed for all fire disasters and all other levels of emergencies.

The two events will present numerous conferences and other event highlights for exhibitors and trade visitors which will help them better understand current industry developments and trends while expanding their business network in the industry.

The organizers say that SSA 2012, working with many leading organizations, will be presenting the Security & Fire Industry Awards 2012, Commercial Premises Security Conference, Indonesia International Security Conference, as well as Global Technology Seminar. These conferences will be led by professional speakers addressing security concerns faced by the commercial sectors, latest innovative technologies, as well as providing delegates with insights into the current state of region’s security affairs.

With Indonesia’s current gross domestic product growth, many aspects of the economy have been reported to be on a growth path. Foreign investors have been pumping in close to $19.3 billion into the Indonesia’s market. In addition, the Indonesian government and business remain aware of the threat of terrorism, as was evident in the Bali bombings which caused the tourism industry to suffer a setback in the year 2002 and 2005.

This sets the stage for SSA 2012 to be the premier destination for tapping into Indonesia’s growing wealth of resources.  “SSA 2012 promises to bring you more exciting display of security issues in its second ever edition,” the organizers say.
