New product will be called ESi WebEOCAlert powered by MIR3; deal gives ESi improved notification capabilities, including communication by email and PDA and post-disaster auditing capabilities

Augusta, Georgia-based Emergency Services integrators (ESi), a developer of web-based IT products and systems integration services to the emergency management and public safety sectors, will soon be using San Diego, California-based MIR3’s intelligent notification technology under an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement announced this week. Under the agreement, ESi will create a new product, the ESi WebEOCAlert powered by MIR3, with the intent of bringing real-time incident management information to emergency operations centers.

ESi is already known for providing responders with secure, real-time access to state and national weather trends, satellite images, mapping information, details of operations in other jurisdictions, local, regional and even national resource status and other data vital to the efficient management of any contingency.
ESi WebEOCAlert powered by MIR3 will increase the service’s speed and allow communication via cell phones, email, and PDAs, as well as provide post-event audit reporting of how communications moved through the system.
