Indian facial recognition company says facial recognition has advantages over retinal scan, and that the growing demand for facial recognition systems in India is one result of this conclusion

Ahmedabad, Gujarat-based JustLook, an India based supplier for face recognition system, says that facial recognition offers better results than retinal scan. The company says in a release that its conclusions is based surveys the market trends very often and its conclusions are based on surveys.

JustLook highlights the following points of difference between the two technologies:
*Facial detection systems can work efficiently in cases of a large number of transactions. This is not the case with retinal scans.
*Unlike facial recognition, retinal scan requires the subject to concentrate on the terminal directly. No tolerance to face postures is possible.
*Face identification applications are faster as it can scan faces quickly.
*Facial recognition is more accurate.
*Identity of an individual is established by facial recognition in less than a second. Iris scan may take more than a minute to establish the enrolled individual’s identity.
JustLook claims that others share this conclusion, and that in India at least, the company is witnessing a high demand for its product.
