Louis Freeh joins Viisage board

Former head of the FBI joins biometric leader Viisage

Louis Freeh, former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has joined the board of directors of Billerica, Massachusetts-based biometrics specialist Viisage Technology (NASDAQ: VISG). Freeh brings to the Viisage board twenty-six years of experience in federal law enforcement, including eight years of heading the FBI (1993-2001), and experience in gained in previous positions, among them serving as a federal district court judge and federal attorney. He will remain on the board of the combined company which will result from the pending merger between Viisage and Minnetonka, Minnesota-based Identix (NASDAQ: IDNX), which is expected to close in the third quarter of 2006.
