ProfitLine, iSYS in $38 million TSA wireless service management contract

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has awarded a wireless services and equipment management contract, with an estimated value of $38 million, to San Diego, California-based ProfitLine. The contract will be executed by ProfitLine’s certified strategic sales partner, Lanham, Maryland-based iSYS. Through its partnership with iSYS, ProfitLine will help manage more than 8,000 wireless devices on an outsourced basis. The contract calls for iSYS/ProfitLine to manage cellular and Blackberry devices for TSA sites, TSA headquarters, and at more than 400 U.S. airports. After a thorough competitive review of available options and the receipt of multiple bids, the TSA chose the iSYS/ProfitLine team for outsourced wireless telecom management.
