Large security provider shows a new, all-in-one online security management solution for businesses of all sizes
Protection One, Inc. (Nasdaq: PONE), a leading business security providers, has announced the creation of a new, all-in-one online security management solution for businesses of all sizes.
The new uConnect system was unveiled today at the ASIS meeting in Anaheim. uConnect will be an upgrade from Protection One’s current Online Access service, enabling businesses to manage access and receive real-time security alerts from multiple sites, all through one remote access point.
“With uConnect, our customers will have access to an innovative service that allows them to easily and conveniently monitor specific security data from dozens of locations, using one interface,” said Kevin Williams, vice president of national accounts for Protection One. “Through its extreme flexibility, uConnect can help our clients cut costs and maximize control of their businesses and asset protection efforts. This enhanced system will be their one stop for viewing important alarm events as well as workplace activity, such as openings and closings, deliveries and employee productivity.”
In addition, uConnect will also give businesses the ability to: Create custom reports; View real-time reports; Schedule reports; Export reports into Excel, PDF and CSV formats; Retrieve precise data through a robust search engine; and Efficiently manage multi-site groups and user logins.
Additional uConnect features will be launched in 2010 that will offer businesses even greater control with new options, including online billing histories, online bill payment, and access management.
