QinetiQ North America (QNA) the other day announced it was awarded a new task order by the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center to provide cybersecurity services to protect the U.S. transportation and control systems and critical infrastructure. This $4.7 million task order is the first cybersecurity task order issued under the Volpe Transportation Information Project Support V-TRIPS) contract.

Earlier this month, t QNA was named a subcontractor under a $3 billion communications equipment contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
