A new petition on the White House Web site asks the administration to declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization. The request was posted on petitions.whitehouse.gov on 7 July and has so far garnered more than the 100,000 signature. The White House petition Web site promises petition signers that if a petition gathers more than 100,000 signatures, the Obama administration would officially consider the request, and have an administration official explain the administration’s decision.
