On Wednesday Lockheed Martin delivered a fourth upgraded P-3 Orion aircraft to U.S. Customs and Border Protection

On Wednesday Lockheed Martin delivereda fourth upgraded P-3 Orion aircraft to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

With the new Mid-Life Upgrade, the plane has an added twenty years of operational life thanks to the replacement of fatigued aircraft structures along with new metal alloy that is less susceptible to corrosion.

The latest P-3 delivery is the fourth completed in eleven months, a record time and two months ahead of schedule.
