21st Century Technologies acquires D.C.-area cyber-security firm

21st Century Technology (21CT), a developer of advanced intelligence analytics software to combat terrorist threats and cyber threats, acquires a specialist in defenses against network intrusions

Technology company 21st Century Technologies has acquired NetflowData LLC, a consulting company in Silver Spring, Maryland. Financial terms were not disclosed.

21st Century Technology (21CT) develops advanced intelligence analytics software to combat terrorist threats and cyber threats. The company is based in Austin but has offices in San Antonio and Washington, D.C.

NetflowData delivers customized monitoring services to private and public customers in order to help them improve customers’ defenses against network intrusions.

Josh Goldfarb, president and chief practitioner of NetflowData, and his team will join 21st Century Technologies. NetflowData employees will continue to be based in the D.C. area. They will also be tasked with completing assignments in Austin and San Antonio.

21st Century Technologies currently employs 44 people. NetflowData employs four people.

21st Century Technologies was founded in 1999 by a group of scientists from MIT.
