Forensic Engineering ASCE holds its 5th ASCE Forensic Engineering Congress

Would you like to know more about the hows and whys of structural failure? The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will hold the 5th ASCE Forensic Engineering Congress at the Madison Hotel in Washington, D.C., from 11 November to 14 November. The Planning Committee has assembled an exciting program of workshops and technical sessions, including sessions on “Forensic Engineering Practices,” “Facade Forensics,” “Dissemination of Failure Information,” “Forensic Investigation,” “Practices to Reduce Failures,” and much more.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Henry Petroski, Ph.D., P.E., Dist. M.ASCE, NAE, Aleksandar S. Vesic Professor of Civil Engineering and Professor of History at Duke University. Dr. Petroski’s many publications include To Engineer is Human: The Role of Failure in Successful Design
