Global Security Challenge grand final will be held in London 24-25 October; six start-ups and six SMEs will compete for a prize fund of $500,000

The Global Security Challenge (GSC) announced the twelve regional winners who will be competing in the 2011 grand finals for a total prize fund of $500,000 ($300,000 for an SME, $200,000 for a start-up). The final, which will see a competition among six start-ups and six SMEs, will be held in London on 24-25 October.

This year’s GSC received a record number of entries, with ideas and innovations from more than thirty countries.

The list below shows the six start-up finalists, the six SME finalists, and the competition they faced in each region.
