Company’s OneSign is declared best in show at the 2006 Information Security Decisions Conference held last month in Chicago

Lexington, Massachusetts-based Imprivata, well known for its enterprise authentication and access management systems, is sitting pretty these days. The company’s OneSign Single Sign-On was declared “best in show” at the 2006 Information Security Decisions Conference, which took place in Chicago last month. The technology includes the company’s Application Profile Generator (APG), which learns the login behaviors of the target applications and generates an XML profile that is securely distributed to users on a session basis, thereby enabling secure and seamless single sign-on to all enterprise applications without requiring any modifications to existing code.

Judges included representatives from Burton Group Security and Risk Management Strategies, the editors of TechTarget’s Security Media Group, and conference attendees.
