A survey by OpenSky Research and Neverfail Americas has found that nearly half of responding businesses do not have a business continuity plan in place. Many of these said that they expected to implement business continuity plans in the future, but 13 percent of respondents said they had no plans to start work on a business continuity plan. The survey also found that 45 percent of respondents experienced an IT failure last year while only 12 percent expressed 100 percent confidence that their company is doing enough to protect its IT systems.
