Precise Biometrics in NIST Match-on-Card feasibility study

Swedish company has been advocating the advantages of Match-on-Card technology for a while; NIST now invites company for a feasibility demonstration

Lund, Sweden-based Precise Biometrics and several partners will take part in a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) feasibility study to demonstrate secure biometrics Match-on-Card. NIST will conduct a feasibility study of Secure Biometric Match-On-Card(SBMOC) technology, and invites providers of such technology to submit devices to be tested.

Note that Precise Biometrics has been an ardent advocate of Match-on-Card technology. There are several governments and organizations using Precise Match-on-Card solutions, among them the Thai authorities, Portugal, Qatar, the U.S, Department of State, and one of the major banks in Israel.
