SmartCard Alliance launches Identity Council

Princeton Junction, New Jersey-based Smart Card Alliance has formed the Identity Council to increase awareness and education on identity issues and technology. So far, twenty Smart Card Alliance member organizations have joined the Identity Council, which is co-chaired by Martin Dugan of Viisage and Neville Pattinson of Axalto. Other members include: Booz Allen Hamilton, Datacard Group, Fargo Electronics, Hitachi America, IBM, International Biometric Industry Association, Saflink, and Texas Instruments.
